1) Needed an email showcasing the grilling products of the season.
2) Showcase high revenue products.
3) A new informational way to showcase products.
ACTION
1) I went through the process of taking photos from the catalog and prioritizing them verbally with the merchandisers
2) I laid out the products showcasing the products that would create the most revenue with different text treatments.
3) Met with the Creative Director and the Vice President of Creative Services to get their buy in. They had minor feedback, but otherwise they were supportive.
4) I coded the email in HTML and hosted it in Cheetahmail, then sent a test to the rest of the company to preview and test the email.
5) Subject line A/B tests were done to test the subject line effectiveness, but the rest of the email was compared to other emails.
RESULT
1) The metrics were handled by a teammate who told me that it was a financially successful email.
2) The email was used as a template moving forward.
